• Create a new company based around a “free version of Consumer Reports”, including startup concept, services, revenue models, retailer subscriptions, and prototype development.

Results

• Through usability testing, the web site and concept proved to be very desirable to consumers.
• However, the startup was canceled during the economic downturn in 2008. Consumers cutting back on discretionary purchases negatively impacted the retailer revenue sharing model.

• Cisco’s initial IP telephony platform was a big hit with enterprise customers. Brenton was the creative lead to evolving the telephony user interface to create a platform for next generation phone services.
• The challenge was to integrate existing hardware, Cisco’s first color and touch screen, and design an interaction model for services on the phone.

Results

• A new service provider industry emerged to provide custom services using the interface.

• Tell a story and create a visual design that reflects the personality of the author and the very high standards of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
